This 8-Hour class gives you the knowledge, techniques, and tips to carry concealed both comfortably and confidently. Topics covered include gear selection, holster placement, attire, lifestyle logistics and male vs. female carry challenges. Learn to draw & engage from concealment as well as what to do before, during and after a deadly force event.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Students should have at least taken a basic handgun class within the past year and have a grasp of range ettiquete and basic gun handeling and safey skills.

RANGE FEE: $25 payable to range at check in
WHAT TO EXPECT
MORNING SESSION from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm is a HANDS ON WORKSHOP! Bring as much gear as you have and a few different cover garment options. We will be sorting through holster types, trying out different carry positions and accessory placement. This workshop answers your big questions about comfort and lifestyle so that you walk away with a set-up that works best for you!
AFTERNOON SESSION from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm on the range. Prepare work on the nuance of drawing from concealment DRYFIRE until we gain the correct technique to do so live fire. This afternoon session is a fun progression of information and drills to build real-world situational awareness, information processing, and stress management for all facets of a deadly force encounter. Learn the essentials to carry with confidence!
Working handgun, your concealed carry handgun of choice (preferably a centerfire gun)
250 rounds FMJ ball ammo
Minimum of two (2) magazines
Eye & ear protection
Holster (For safety reasons bra holsters, soft side collapsible holsters, cross draw, Serpa, ankle, off-body and behind-the-back posters are NOT allowed during live-fire portion of course. Contact us with questions.)
Sturdy gun belt
Closed toe shoes
ATTIRE: High collared shirt, cover & concealment garment (bring options to work with!), Base layers or compression garment are recommended to prevent being uncomfortably “exposed” when working from a concealment holster.
Brimmed ball caps recommended but not required. Cold weather appropriate cover garments include: jacket, vest, loose sweater or outer layer. (Students should consider winter carry cover garments in addition to a tuckable inner layer to stay warm while working from concealment.)
Bring a packed lunch. Local options are availalbe such as Subway but it is far easier to enjoy lunch at the range.
Sunscreen or rain gear depending on the weather.
Handwarmers such as Hot Hands are wonderful for cooler temps.
REGISTRATION POLICIES & TERMS
Cancellation: 50% of class/event fee is a non-refundable deposit if given 72-hours notice of class start date.
Refunds: Refunds for the balance of event fee are issued via PayPal refund only.
No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 72-hour notice forfeit their total registration fees.
